The Deceased Mother Gives Her Account
TEMPLE OF JUSTICE, Monrovia – The mother of the slain girlfriend of Bill Jallah, Princess Zuo Wesseh, who has just been sentenced to life imprisonment for murdering Princess has been speaking about her daughter’s relationship that ended tragically late last year.
Madam Waydeh Wesseh opened up on Monday, September 22, 2025 at the Criminal Court, when asked whether or not she had something to say after reading the pre-sentence report. She answered in the positive and an oath was admonished to her prior to expressing her feelings.
“My name is Waydeh Wesseh, the late Princess’s Mother. From the beginning of their love affair, I was not satisfied with this particular Bill Jallah in question. I really don’t know him to be Bill Jallah,” said the mother of the late Princess.
FULL TEXT OF Princess mother’s statement below:
“When I heard from my daughter that she and Bill Jallah were loving, I warned her to move from behind Bill Jallah. I told my daughter that I never liked the relationship so I don’t want to see him behind you. The first time I ever saw him, I asked my daughter is this the Bill Jallah that they told me about? Her deceased daughter answered and said no, his name is Mr. Williams.”
“I told her that this man’s face that I am seeing looks too terrible and I don’t want to see him with you and in my yard.” she left me and went to Congo Town where I bought my land. She found a one room apartment and moved there but I never stepped there.
When she came to me she started crying and I asked her what are you crying for and she said this Bill man that you told me to move from behind, his wife went to my house and started spoiling my things and I told her that I cannot go there because I warned you and this was how she brought one Derrick and introduced him to me. Derrick told me that he wanted to marry my daughter so his family and I talked.
During their stay together, defendant Bill beat on my daughter but she didn’t tell me but rather she hide herself from me for one year because of the way she was looking. Her cousin asked her and she said I don’t want my mother to know so she took a photo of the beating body and showed it to her cousin and later her cousin showed it to me.
“When I saw the photo I felt bad. I told her and the people to show me her place so I will go see her so her friends and cousins talked to her so she came back and I told her that my daughter is no bad bush for a child so come back and it was how she came back”.
When she came, I told her that she must stay away from this particular man but she kept bringing this man in my house because I don’t want to see him since he is a married man. Let him go to his wife but if he and his wife in confusion let him go to settle his confusion.
The other day his wife called me and ruin insults at me and told me that I will be in black one day and today I am in black so I told my Church’s sisters about it.
He called me and told me that he was calling my daughter but could not get her so I told him to stay away from my daughter. I told him I didn’t born her for you, plenty women on this earth so you can go find one.
“You don’t know how I suffered for her, sent her to school so stay away from her and it was just what I told him. On the 21st Day of December 2024, she called me and told me that Bill Jallah went to her working place and I said who this Bill Jallah is? but she said he came to attack me and I told her to be careful but if he is still disturbing you then you can call you Uncle in that process I text her to be careful.”
She called me back saying that she went to the Bank but she was not successful so she didn’t go for lunch so I should cook her pepper soup.
She told me that Bill had people coming to my house so I asked her for what? She changed the topic and asked me which soup I was cooking? . When I was going home she sent me a please call but later when I put minutes on my phone to call her, her phone kept ringing up to 11pm her phone was still ringing. I got concerned because I was calling Princess but her phone just rang and she couldn’t pick up so I got scared.
Her brother came out and said that the Zogos juke one girl to fun victory to where they kill one girl. So, I said since Princess called me and I have been calling but no response. From there my elderly sister called me but she was asking me if everybody was correct and I said yes. I also received a call from Barnesville from my play-son that Princess died but I was surprised and he told me that I should go to ELWA Hospital where he was also going so we could meet there.
“So, while walking on the road everybody hide themselves from me because they never wanted to tell me that my daughter had died but why walking one motor bike boy stopped for me and carried me to JFK Medical Center and when I reached I met the place packed.”
“I met one lady speaking Bassa so I asked her and she described the girl but the way she described the girl my body started shivering and they told me that Bill Jallah stabbed my daughter but I yelled and said what!!!. So, it is my daughter’s business her brother was talking about? I am going to the station so Bill will kill me too but in the process my Church’s people came in and took me from there. At the end of it all, Bill Jallah’s people said that nothing will come out of it, they will just carry him to jail and later he will come out. That is all I have to say for now.“
